The medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, and patients with kidney, liver, heart, or bone disorders should use it cautiously under medical supervision, as regular monitoring of blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney function may be required. Some individuals may experience immune reconstitution syndrome, changes in blood sugar levels, or body fat distribution during therapy, and the medicine is generally not recommended for patients with existing kidney problems. Patients should inform their doctor if they are pregnant or planning pregnancy, and breastfeeding is not advised due to the risk of HIV transmission to the baby.
