Dobataf-3 Tablet 30s is an antiretroviral medicine used to treat HIV-1 infection in adults and children above 12 years of age weighing at least 40 kg. It contains dolutegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide, which work together to block the replication of the HIV virus, helping lower the viral load, protect the immune system, and reduce the risk of HIV-related complications. The medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed, and some people may experience mild side effects such as headache, nausea, tiredness, or difficulty sleeping, which usually improve over time. Patients should consult their doctor if they are pregnant or planning pregnancy, avoid breastfeeding and alcohol during treatment, and continue practising safe sex, as the medicine does not prevent transmission of HIV to others.
