About Hepdoze 300mg Tablet

Hepdoze 300mg Tablet contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, an antiviral medicine from the NRTI class used to treat chronic hepatitis B (HBV) and HIV infections. It works by blocking the reverse transcriptase enzyme, preventing the virus from multiplying, reducing viral load, and lowering the risk of long-term complications such as liver damage and immune system weakening.

Hepdoze helps control HBV and HIV but does not cure these infections and is often used along with other antiretroviral medicines for HIV treatment or prevention (PrEP) in high-risk individuals. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and fatigue, which are usually mild. Rare but serious effects like kidney or liver problems, bone weakness, or lactic acidosis may occur, so regular medical monitoring and prompt consultation for unusual symptoms are advised.
