Vonavir Tablet

Vonavir Tablet is a combination antiretroviral medicine containing Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, used as part of antiretroviral therapy (ART) for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It helps reduce viral load, slows the progression to AIDS, improves immune function, and lowers the risk of HIV transmission when taken regularly as prescribed. Vonavir is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above weighing more than 35 kg. It does not cure HIV and should be avoided in patients with severe kidney disease or known allergies to its ingredients. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, rash, and sleep problems; alcohol and driving should be avoided if drowsy, and alternative contraception may be required during treatment.
