Teevir Tablet

Teevir Tablet is a combination antiretroviral medicine containing Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, widely used in antiretroviral therapy (ART) for treating HIV-1 infection. It helps lower viral load, slow the progression to AIDS, improve immune health, and reduce the risk of HIV transmission when taken regularly as prescribed. Teevir is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above weighing over 35 kg. It does not cure HIV and should be avoided in patients with severe kidney disease or known allergies to its ingredients. Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, rash, sleep disturbances, and bone pain; alcohol, driving, and reliance on oral contraceptives should be avoided unless advised by a doctor.
