About Trioday Tablet
Trioday Tablet is a combination antiretroviral medication containing Efavirenz, Lamivudine, and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, used in the management of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infection. Efavirenz belongs to the non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) class, while Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate are nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Together, these medicines help reduce the amount of HIV in the body, support immune function, and slow the progression of the infection. Trioday Tablet should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of its active ingredients. Patients with a history of pancreatitis, heart rhythm disorders such as QT prolongation, seizures, mental health conditions, liver disease including chronic hepatitis B or C, kidney problems, bone disorders, or previous fractures should inform their doctor before starting treatment. Regular monitoring of blood counts, bone mineral density, liver function, and kidney function may be recommended during therapy to help detect and prevent potential complications. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should consult their healthcare provider before using Trioday Tablet, as breastfeeding is generally not recommended due to the risk of HIV transmission from mother to child. When taken as prescribed, Trioday Tablet plays an important role in long-term HIV management and improving overall quality of life.
