Tavin L tablet is an antiretroviral medicine containing lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, used in the treatment of HIV infection by blocking the viruss ability to multiply and helping maintain immune system function. Although effective therapy lowers the risk, HIV transmission can still occur, so appropriate precautions should be followed. The medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to its ingredients, including peanuts or soya, and patients with kidney, liver, or bone-related conditions should use it cautiously under medical supervision, as regular monitoring of blood counts, bone mineral density, and kidney and liver function may be required, with dose adjustments recommended only by a doctor. This medicine is generally not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years, and patients who are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding should consult their doctor, as breastfeeding is not advised due to the risk of HIV transmission to the baby.
