Peg Grafeel 6 mg Injection contains Pegfilgrastim, a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) used to reduce the risk and duration of neutropenia and febrile neutropenia in patients receiving bone marrow suppressive chemotherapy. It stimulates the production and activation of white blood cells, helping the body fight infections more effectively. Peg Grafeel is also indicated to improve survival in patients exposed to radiation that can severely damage bone marrow. Common side effects include bone, arm, and leg pain. Patients should inform their doctor about any liver, kidney, heart conditions, infections, or allergies before treatment and seek immediate medical attention for symptoms such as left upper abdominal pain, shoulder pain, or breathing difficulties.
