Lomocare 40mg Injection contains Enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) anticoagulant used to treat and prevent blood clots. It is prescribed for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, and to prevent clot formation after abdominal, hip replacement, or knee replacement surgery, as well as in patients with prolonged immobility. Lomocare 40mg Injection is also used to reduce the risk of further heart complications in patients with unstable angina and non-Q wave myocardial infarction (heart attack). It works by preventing the formation and growth of harmful blood clots, helping maintain healthy blood flow. This medication should not be used in patients with active bleeding, a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), or hypersensitivity to Enoxaparin, heparin, benzyl alcohol, pork products, or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you have kidney disease, bleeding disorders, liver problems, or if you are scheduled to undergo spinal or epidural anesthesia or spinal puncture, as these procedures may increase the risk of serious bleeding. Older adults and patients with low body weight require careful monitoring due to a higher risk of bleeding complications. Lomocare 40mg Injection is generally not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
