Darberel 40mcg Injection

Darberel 40 mcg Injection (PFS) contains darbepoetin alfa, an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent used to treat anemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults and children. It works by stimulating red blood cell production, helping improve hemoglobin levels and reduce symptoms such as fatigue and weakness. Regular blood tests and blood pressure monitoring are required to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Darberel is not recommended for patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure and should be used with caution in those with liver disease, seizures, sickle cell anemia, or a history of poor response to anemia therapy. Common side effects include increased blood pressure, injection-site pain, skin rash, and allergic reactions. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be only under medical supervision, with close monitoring throughout treatment.
