Cresp 40 mcg Injection (PFS) contains darbepoetin alfa, an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent used to treat symptomatic anemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults and children. It works by stimulating red blood cell production, helping improve hemoglobin levels and reduce anemia-related symptoms. Cresp is not recommended in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and should be used with caution in those with liver disease, seizures, sickle cell anemia, or a history of poor response to anemia therapy.
