Trasturel 440mg Injection contains trastuzumab as its active ingredient and is indicated for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. In patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, the cancer cells often exhibit high levels of HER2 proteins, which can drive rapid tumor growth by signaling cancerous activity. This medication is also used to treat metastatic gastric cancer that has elevated levels of HER2 proteins.

HER2-positive breast cancers are typically more aggressive. The targeted therapy works by specifically targeting the proteins responsible for the growth, development, and spread of cancer. It is crucial to use effective birth control during treatment and for at least 7 months after the final dose.

Trasturel 440mg Injection is not recommended for patients under 18 years old or for those with severe breathing issues requiring oxygen treatment. It is important to inform your physician if you have any heart problems, experience breathlessness, or have undergone any prior cancer treatments. Additionally, make sure to disclose all medications you are taking, including supplements and herbal products, before starting this treatment.
