About Ibyra 100mg Tablet
Ibyra 100mg Tablet contains Olaparib, a targeted anticancer medication that belongs to the PARP (Poly ADP-ribose Polymerase) inhibitor class. It is used in the treatment of certain cancers, including pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer, either as a standalone therapy or in combination with other anticancer medications. Olaparib works by blocking PARP enzymes that help cancer cells repair damaged DNA, thereby slowing cancer growth and promoting the death of cancer cells. Patients should not take Ibyra 100mg Tablet if they are allergic to Olaparib or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, it is important to inform your healthcare provider about any history of lung, liver, kidney, or heart disease, as these conditions may require additional monitoring. Regular blood tests are recommended before treatment and every month during therapy because Olaparib may reduce red blood cell, white blood cell, and platelet counts, increasing the risk of anemia, infections, and bleeding. Patients should seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, persistent cough, or wheezing. Ibyra 100mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy because it may harm an unborn baby and increase the risk of miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective contraception during therapy and for at least six months after the final dose. Breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment, as it is unknown whether Olaparib passes into breast milk. Male patients should not donate sperm during treatment and for at least three months after completing therapy. To ensure safe and effective treatment, patients should inform their doctor about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, herbal products, and dietary supplements before starting Ibyra 100mg Tablet.
