Esentra 120mg Injection contains Denosumab as its active ingredient. It is primarily used to treat osteoporosis, a condition characterized by weakened bones. Additionally, it is prescribed to prevent bone complications in patients with multiple myeloma and bone metastases from certain cancers.

Denosumab works by inhibiting RANK ligand, a protein responsible for bone tissue breakdown.
