Abiratas 250mg Tablet contains Abiraterone Acetate, an anticancer medication used to treat advanced prostate cancer in adult men, particularly when the disease has spread to other parts of the body. It works by reducing the production of testosterone and other male hormones that help prostate cancer cells grow, thereby slowing disease progression. Abiratas 250mg Tablet is typically prescribed along with a corticosteroid to reduce the risk of treatment-related side effects and may also be used in combination with hormone-lowering therapy in certain earlier stages of prostate cancer. This medication is not intended for use in women or children.
